Starts with light herbal aromas of rose, popouri and strawberry with a whiff of earthy tobacco. Mild tannins with minimal sweetness. Unfortunately the pallate is slightly overwhelmed by the acidity & alcohol but hints of wild blueberry and clove make it through. However, it definitely improved as the wine decanted for an hour allowing more fruit to shine through. Paired with Cornish game hen with rosemary stuffing. ($7)

I've had other styles by this producer and was mightily impressed. This time, not so much. It's dark and fruity, but a little too brash for Pinot Noir, IMHO. I like mine a little more elegant.

Simple, a smidge sweet, very mild tannins and light/ weak structure. Overall good and bright fruit notes

Another really enjoyable Pinot Noir. More body than expected. Nice leathery flavor with a hint of toasted nuts in the bouquet.

Trending toward cherry juice with some nice acid in the finish that partially redeems this otherwise single dimensional wine. Suitable as a party wine and, hey, I got it for free, so no complaints.

Well priced. Fruit heavy. Lacked some acidity.

Good, better next day- could taste peppery notes. Medium body, light in color semi complex taste.
