Prefect with Memorial Day weekend ribs - structure with plump expressive personality, showing ripe and dried raspberry and blackberries, meaty with bacon fat and crushed rock tones that glide on the long finish toward vibrant tannins

From a great tasting at Cayuse Vineyards with Christophe Baron/Trevor Dorland.

Much better than the 2011 but we prefer some other bottlings (en cerise, armada). 93-94

En Chamberlin was the first Cayuse I ever tried, so it has a special place in my palate/heart. All the black olive rocks Walla Walla Cayuse funk is here - but I opened this one too early. There are better vintages but anyone hoping to taste what Cayuse is all about can find it here

Dry and spicy in the beginning but then it mellowed out into more earthy mineral dark fruit. Well balanced and an appealing draw to keep sipping....but not worth what we paid for it though!
