The Walking Fool Red Blend

Blend of mostly Zinfandel with Petite Sirah added, deep Ruby with aromas of dark fruits, cigar box spice, floral and earthy notes. On the palate flavors of sweet raspberry and cherry with smoky meaty spice, pepper and floral notes wrapped in lively acidity. Fine sweet gritty tannins, long finish, great structure ending with fruit, spice, cacao and slight earthy tones.

This delicious red blend from “that” Caymus is medium bodied, full of mocha and bright cherry fruits, with a lingering dusty finish. There is a bit of residual sugar, but not so much as to be unpleasant. It worked very well as a cocktail red.

slightly less bold conundrum. However considering price, conundrum is a better value

Nose is earthy like damp dirt after a rain. Bold start with a body that slightly lingers. Taste is hard to pin point but quite enjoyable. Dryness is balanced. Leaves you wanting another sip.

Good Camus for the price

On Princess Sun doing the special Caymus Wine dinner. This is something that I’ve not seen before. An ok wine. Not sure of the price point. This is a blend of Zinfandel and Syrah.
