To me this was surprisingly restrained and beautifully balanced for being from this producer.
In a blind tasting I wouldn't have guessed Zin.

Very surprising. Pronounced American oak aromas with nice pie cherry notes. Drinkable now!

A rarity. Must only be able to get this at the property. Probably past it's prime, but soft and absolutely drinking. Rather restrained, and subtle.

Aug 9th, 2013While a good bottle of wine, it wasn’t a Caymus Cab. Big and think with lots of deep dark fruit. Minerals, coal, pepper hints throughout the wine. Big bold finish, lots of tannins left.
