Tried their second release from Caymus Vineyards, this wine is a California-appellation Cabernet Sauvignon, so grapes can come from anywhere in CA! Dark Ruby, aromas of ripe black fruits, smoky tobacco and pepper spices. On the palate flavors of black cherry and blackberry with herb, cacao, espresso and vanilla oak, after it opened up. Fine tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, cacao, vanilla and earthy herbs. Drinkable now! Seems a bit pricey!

Great fruit with dusty tannins. Bottle looked like one of the big ones the high end wines sport to show quality, but instead of 750 ml was 1,000 ml. Hadn’t seen that before

Very fruity with layered notes. If I’d blind tasted it, I would’ve thought it’s a Zinfandel.
