Now we're talking. Pretty plum fruit and an iron mineral-like intensity. Floral notes and a clean, long finish.

Old favorite

This is a pretty wine, black tea, burnt orange, lots of anise, red berries, lots of Burgundy-esque character, good acid.

Down to last bottles of the 2009. What splendid fruit and tension. Enormous energy and joy in every tiny sip.

Licorice, rose petals, currants, rosemary, loads of minerality spice accents, this is fantastic! A long clean finish from this classically made, medium bodied northern Italian Nebbiolo based beauty.

Very nice, esp for $23. Well balanced, light body. Real complexity if you savor and swirl. But very easy drinking too. 13.5% al. I think Nebbiolo? Buy again.
