Pet Nat Beaujolais Gamay Rosé

Love the photo I took because I got my pet and the pet nat in the same shot. How artistic of me! Speaking of artistic, this wine is. Wonderful pink coral color with hints of red on the edges. Lovely bubbles and a perfectly fuzzy mouthfeel. Paints the palate with unripened strawberries and watermelon rind. Long finish. Hard to put down.

TRULY SCRUMTRULESCENT, TRULY SCRUMPTIOUS & FLORESCENT. Smells like the warm filling of strawberry Pop Tarts got stuffed into the centers of cold raspberries & rolled around in coarse salt, and tastes like an electric sea of cranberry & raspberry splashing onto a shore of crisp rose petals. LIKE I SAID, GOD DAMN SCRUMTRULESCENT.

This had lots of berry aromas and flavors. It was a bit juicier than I expected. But it also had a nice brambley quality, as you would expect from Beaujolais, and a slight earthy/natural funk on the finish.

Bready, excellent mouthfeel, dry

Tasty but not magnificent

Strawberries, unchallenging, a little sweet but not cloying

100% gamay. Strawberry bubbles! Perhaps a tad too sweet for me.

Pet Nat. 100% gamay rose. Strawberry and melon. Salty. A tiny bit too sweet.
