Solid inexpensive Pinot Blanc. Bitter honey, marzipan, straw and pear nose. Good concentration of flavor. Nice weight, but with decent acids.

Light smell of citrus fruit and melon. Taste of slight sour notes with melon flavors and a wonderful mineral, clean finish. Just enough acid to keep it from being flabby. This is a really enjoyable wine. Had with chicken curry and stood up well to the spices.

Good, but not spectacular - thought it was slightly more syrupy and less minerally than I would have liked. I'll post more with bottle 2. Lot going on this day...
