Dame Victoria Rasteau Red Rhone Blend

A plump, fun little wine-juicy red fruit and soft tannins...not the longest finish, but very pleasant

Dark roasted coffee grounds, on the nose that persist throughout, black burnt currants, dark earth, mocha, cocoa powder, black plums also on the bouquet. Black olive, underripe black plum, black pepper, charred oak, bay leaf, chewy tannins, cedar, underlying strawberry and black cherry compote.

Table wine, in the best sense of the phrase.

Good but not great. Won't buy again.

Allow to breathe with 20min decant, stones, black fruit, tannins on the finish keep ones interest, good table wine.

Juicy and well-balanced fruit make this inexpensive #French #redwine very nice on a weekday evening.

Rasteau

aromas of grilled lamb, roasting nuts, wood and bramble, leather and kalamata.
tasted like kabobs- grilled meat and veggies....olive, wood.... i was pretty enamored of all the meaty garrigue on this.

Much better on day two.

A bit rustic and quite ordinary. No earthiness but ok for spice. Pass.
