Really excellent. Dark fruit, pretty silky, lots of typical Nebbiolo notes and quite aromatic.

Medium deep ruby , garnet rim. Quite floral , touch of dark cherry, black tea , anis , menthol and mineral touches . On the palate darker fruit , dark cherry , blackberry, orange rind, Quite refreshing acidity , rounded but noticeable tannin . Long mineral finish . Elegant and refined , still young . Better still in 5 years and will hold well a further 8-10

What a wine! This is still showing very young, but 5 hours of air allowed it to flesh out (still, just a little!) and show beautiful, fresh, and pure cherries, raspberries, roses, orangey-spice, and dust. The tannins are there for sure, but are silkier than I'd expect. I want to revisit at 15 years.
