Nicely structured tannins, black figs, truffles, tea leaves and a bit of chocolate

What a great Barolo! Rich yet elegant, perfectly balanced.

2021/8. Lots of deep fruit, with a dark tint for Barolo - tarry earth and a bit of truffle too. Lots of structure showing at this stage - this is perhaps entering a sterner middle age.

2020 spring. An old favorite whose recent price increases have been a bit of a shock, this was as good as ever - layered, satisfying, complete

Needs to be left alone in my opinion. Drying tannins. Lots of cherry and red fruits. Tart.

Just opening, good aroma and fruity. But still have lots of acid. 8.7. 2nd day, aroma is a bit weaker, but it became calm. more smooth. 9.0 @7344, Enoteca, 180806

Very nice. Definitely a younger drinking Barolo, but still on a Barolo scale because would still rather try in 5+ years. Smells fresh and balanced, slightly lighter bodied, excellent acid, grippy tannins, but not crazy on that front. Very nice overall.
