Bright red cherry, leathery tannin, some earthiness, and not much sweetness. Pleasantly dry, but the acidity is a bit bright for my preference. Would pair well with a rich pork dish.

Usually Chianti has super tannins, but they were quite restrained in this bottle. Typical strawberry notes with some darker fruits in the background.

I’m not usually a Chianti fan but this one was pretty good. Started off with some major tannic bite up front but that smoothed out with some air. Bright cherry flavor with white pepper and some mineral details.
