Drank 10/26/17. Had with Seared pork chops and cranberry sauce. Nice pairing. PNP.
Black cherry, earth, and mild spice on the nose. Flavors of black cherry, red cherry and earth. Finishes with medium tannins, but no detectable oak which I generally find so appealing in these Riojas. A nice and easy everyday drinker, however. A fuller body chianti alternative that should pair well with most foods. One of the few reds where I haven't seen a vintage on the bottle.
3/21/7/4/3 +50 = 88 pts.

May 10th, 2024Rating for crianza Tempranillo from Rioja. Spicy, red fruits, slightly more on the leathery scale but well balanced. Drinkable for the price
