On the palate flavors of black cherry and plum with cacao, cedar, espresso and pepper spice. Fine tannins, great balance, complex long finish ending with earthy herbs, fruit and oaky notes. Nice! Small production, less than 700 cases made!

Textbook Brunello, hit all the right notes. Dark red cherry and just a perfect balance of tart fruit and rich tannins. Long finish, perfect with a 30 min decant.

Oaky and jammy. Huge fruit in the mouth and dark cherry and truffle nose. 15.5 ABVs and too fruit forward for me. Much preferred the 2010 Produttori barberseco.

Great wine full of complex flavors. Maybe a bit past it’s prime. Still a wonderful wine to complement a memorable dinner. I had it with White Truffle tagliatelle. 😊

Fantastic Brunello. Really opened up with black cherry notes. Wish I could have held on to this for longer, but it called to me.
