Started fruit forward with subtle earth and fennel, then slowly turned rubbery/tar with prune. Good food wine with a rustic edge.

Promising. Store for longer if you can, but already now, very enjoyable. 8/4-2024

Not bad for a pizza joint. Has a fruity finish and aftertaste

Dusty nose of mild raspberries. Then an old world soft dryness of mild mild dusty cherries. Soft tannins on the finish.

Rose petal, tart cherry smooth tannin. Absolutely delicious & well-integrated - on day 2. Needed time to open up, but it's a wonderful balance of rustic & elegant, with lots of what was once red fruit. The acid is still haunting. I adore this wine. It may not be top of its class, but it excels at being what it is.

I mainly smell vanilla and leather. But there are some sweet fruity hints. Maybe cherry. Very good chianti (classico) to spend some wonderful time with my wife.
