Chianti Sangiovese Blend

A basic Chianti, Ruby with dark berry fruit aromas, woody and black pepper notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry and cherry with spice notes. Tannins are firm, medium finish ending with a drying character. Drink now.

Dried wood, roses, soft plush cherry. Holding up pretty well. Simple but tasty. From 5l.

Muddy garnet color. Aromas of plums, black pepper and a lot of oak. Red and black cherry/berry fruit flavors with that same hint of black pepper. Wood is also dominant (chips?) on the pallet. Very little acidity, a bit disjointed and out of balance. It’s what you get when you visit a local pizzeria when you are on the road.

Enjoyed this wine with pasta one evening. Good flavor, robust but not overkill.

Nice red with family and pizza

Depending on the dish, this could be a nice accompaniment. A little drier than my preference and a little tart, but nice flavour and subtleties. Overall a nice wine.

An alright chianti. A little too weak and disappointing for one of my favorite red types.
