Another wine from the Castle and it does not disappoint. A very complex wine with beautiful color and clarity in the glass. Hints of blue fruit, smoke and earthiness on the nose. However, big time tastes of blueberries, plums, slate and cinnamon on the palate explode from the glass. This is a big 21st century Cabernet with lots of grace and elegance but also with a link to old world wines that take time to grow up in the bottle. The tannins are sleek but lingering in the background as if to say try me in 20 or 30 years. This is a fantastic wine.

Lovely!!! Aromas of blueberry and blackberry jam, leather, earth, and smoke. The taste is an explosion of flavors....black pepper, cinnamon, dark fruit. Tannins are very subtle. Fantastic with Christmas dinner!!!!

Jan 7th, 2018Very special, really liking their wine a lot! Would recommend anyone to try their wine. It is like a super Tuscan from Italy, which they have tailored their wines after:)
