This is a very tasty Chianti Classico Reserva. This 7 year old is still young, but already enjoyable even by itself.

Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity.

Dry on the palate with red and black fruits, oak, coffee, earth, spices, vegetables, tobacco leaf and peppercorn.

Would be nice to revisit it in 5 years.

A good food wine that I paired with a charcuterie board of meats and cheeses.

A blend of 90% Sangiovese and 10% Canaiolo. Aged in French oak barrels for 24 months.

13.5% alcohol by volume.

Яркая и развитая ароматика. Помимо вишни и красных подсушенных ягод, деликатных древесных тонов - много цветочных тонов, фиалка и гибискус. Во вкусе свежая кислотность, средний финиш. Хорошее вино, стоит внимания.

Well, I'll just say I new it screamed Italian, but I went down the Nebiolo road in blind tasting. Smelled like tar and floral, but wild cherry and raspberry should have strayed me toward Sangeovese.. most called it Italian, but not Chianti Classico Reserva. Excellent wine for sure.
