Superior fruit for an Italian wine. Have never had this wine before and it is a mind blower. Incredible fresh fruit; had with elk meatballs and spaghetti. Awesome combination.

Well hello there. Stunning. Bright cherries and licorice. Wonderful with or without food. Drinks older than its age. Complex. Just wow.

Toscana wine evening #6
Bright cherry, herbs, uplifting aromatic whiff, enticing. Medium body yet with good depth & purity of fruit. Still young & a bit reductive yet with Promise of more to come. Beautiful tannin management. Great drinkability.
This is really, really good stuff.

An absolute opulent wine! Aromas of cigar box, black olives, and forest floor and flavors of blackberry pie. The wine seamlessly wraps around the tongue without sucking it dry with a finish that lingers for days...decanted for an hour+ and drank it down. It was only going to get better the longer it breathed, but it didn't last long.

"This is what aged Sangio about," so said Dr Ho-n-ma-san. Incredible complexity after an hour of airing.
