Nose has oodles of stony minerals, citrus pith, and green apple. Salty minerals dominate the palate. Very little fruit, but fresh and intense and crunchy.

Intense nose: pungent stony minerals and intense citrus pith and Granny Smith apple. Also intense in the mouth. Great soft mouthfeel contrasts with the intense angular flavors. Dry, long, refreshing minerally finish.

The terroirs of the Mosel, Saar, Ruwer, Reinhessen, Pfalz, and Nahe are every inch as delineated and diverse as the Côte d'Or. Even entry level wines often come from ancient and storied vineyards. So If you love Riesling and lament the relative lack of variety for quality, site-specific wines in most American markets, get on Fass Selections' mailing list.

Gorgeous mineral nose. Slate and lime zest. Palate is fresh and crisp. Terrific depth and power. Yet light and refreshing. This is crack.

Gorgeous mineral nose. Candied slate aromas and even a hint of vulcanized rubbers. Palate is clear as day with good mineral and sweet lime zest fruit on the finish. Not complex but just delicious.

Very mineral and expressive nose. Slate and also a nice herbal component. Some peach as well. Palate is fantastic now. Drinking beautifully. Has a rainwater like quality to it. Great purity and freshness and glides across the palate. Juicy acidity and lots of ripe fruit make this very complete. Wonderful fleshy fruit (lime, peach) on the mid-palate with terrific finesse. Lovely, balanced, long, slatey finish.
