Jul 17th, 2016A lovely Barbera, with deep purple color, vibrant acidity and very "grapey" fruit profile. A lovely country wine for country food...in this case grilled chicken panzanella salad.

Nov 4th, 2014Bold nose of dark red berry, velvet, latex and a strangely seafood-y funk, like oysters maybe, on a medium bodied, DARK red wine, with purple hues present towards the edges. The palate is much more straightforward and juicy, and slightly spicy, with notes like Hawaiian Punch, dark overripe berry, and a finish that tastes a bit like artificial blueberry flavor, with some slight tannins peppered throughout.

Oct 8th, 2023Dense, with much of everything. Acidity, fruit and a bit of tannins begging for a handful of years in the cellar. Dancing on the edge of mousiness though, hope it sorts out over a year or two.

Jul 12th, 2019Just-right bistro wine. Medium bodied and a tad earthy, light but notable tannin, with a super nice balance. Drink it with a nice steak and some frites. Or a blanquette de veau! Oui oui!
