Relatively disappointing vs expectations. It wasn’t flawed but it just didn’t go anywhere. Muddled and waning fruit.

My 2009 Rabaja is decidedly NOT a light floral Barbaresco. Ample oak influence indicates a modern producer. Well-made, but not my style.

A mid to light weight Barbaresco that it elegant and quite listed. Secondary elements fine through so might be better in a few years when everything integrates some more.

Such a great vineyard site. This particular expression of Rabaja is attractive, on the lighter side, a touch of vanilla too. Pleasant best term drinking but probably has legs to run too.

Complex, elegant, very well balanced but still easy drinking. A great bottle for the value.

WOTN for me. (And there are some great ones coming.) The total package. There's power, fruit, earth, fine tannins, and so much persistence. Gorgeous.
