Brunello di Montalcino Sangiovese

2010 single vineyard, 30 months aging, 10% new oak, all French oak aging, medium plus tannin, medium plus acidity, 15% alcohol, stemmy, tobacco, dry fruits. Very complex and can def age more!!

Not as balanced as I would like... fruit forward but lacking acid I typically expect from Brunello l. Enjoyable wine, but wouldn't peg it as Brunello

Leaner and still powerful wine by its acids and tannins albeit not really showing yet what it should be. Kind of a adolescent shy stage maybe for 2010.

10' Casanova DI Neri Bruello Montalcino Sangiovese. Delicious bottle of wine for a late lunch. Could use a few more years in bottle. We still had no problems finishing it. The group wanted me to purchase the 10. I wonder if I should of purchased the 2007 for 4 euros more🤔.

Off bottle, but still nice

Sour fruit. Mossy tannins. Needs a few more years to balance out but should be a star

2010 vintage was a knockout home run. Smooth, typical brunello but much better
