2010 single vineyard, 30 months aging, 10% new oak, all French oak aging, medium plus tannin, medium plus acidity, 15% alcohol, stemmy, tobacco, dry fruits. Very complex and can def age more!!

Not as balanced as I would like... fruit forward but lacking acid I typically expect from Brunello l. Enjoyable wine, but wouldn't peg it as Brunello

Leaner and still powerful wine by its acids and tannins albeit not really showing yet what it should be. Kind of a adolescent shy stage maybe for 2010.

10' Casanova DI Neri Bruello Montalcino Sangiovese. Delicious bottle of wine for a late lunch. Could use a few more years in bottle. We still had no problems finishing it. The group wanted me to purchase the 10. I wonder if I should of purchased the 2007 for 4 euros more🤔.

Sour fruit. Mossy tannins. Needs a few more years to balance out but should be a star

Yes that's Rudolf. No his nose does not turn red until his 3rd glass. 2010 Brunellos living up to the hype even as babies

Nose - deep cherry plummy bouquet, wood fragrance, smoke and sea salt
Body - cherry, juicy dark fruit, chocolate, spice, depth and persistence, fine tannins, wood backbone and complexity develops with airing
Finish - long and smooth, spice and tobacco notes

Bigger style than the TN, Brunello meets Napa Cab. Nice, young, big extracted cherry. My palate was too dead for reliability but I liked this.
