$42 on a wine list, great option, didn't work with albacore but perfect for her pizza. Love these wines have worked/tasted most of the vintages back to 2001. Lot of btl variation and bad corks but the bottles that are on are really good. Old school, probably a little Brett, great acid, bright red fruit, almost gritty tannin structure.

90% Sangiovese and 10% Canaiolo. Quite complex nose of violet, strawberry, cranberry, wood chips, vanilla, and smoked meat. Textured and silky. Gripping tannins. Very well balanced.
