Solid and hearty Italian. Leather, tar, espresso are dominant before cherry and plum emerge and stay smooth with oak spice and vanilla. Just shy of aggressive, plump tannins and juicy acidity balance.

Italian wines always taste good with food, especially a meaty tomato sauce over pasta. After decanting for 30 minutes, this Montepulciano gem blossomed with rich flavor and soft tannins. A bit dry at the finish, but overall a pleasant addition to a good meal. Cheers!!

When you're on the road and trying a local restaurant, it's nice to find something familiar on the wine list. I do like Vino Nobile.
