So if you poured fresh black pepper on a humidor and then drank ripe blueberry juice you'd get the nose of this. Rich mouth feel and a somewhat spicy finish. I could smell it for days. — 8 years ago
An odd wine. Dark yellow but very closed nose. Lemon lime and cinnamon. Very acidic with lean finish. Interesting but the pieces don't add up. — 8 years ago
Balance on this is exquisite. Just the right amount of fruit and toast on the nose. Rich full mouthfeel with a little juicy acid. Finish of peach and honey. Changes with temperature and time. Super complex. — 8 years ago
Classical seductive Pinot. Exotic enough that keeps you wanting more with a structure that balances nuance and power. Sweet blackberry and cinnamon on the nose that breaks into touches of menthol. Sharp on the palate with juicy fruit jam and black tea. Lovely and complex. — 8 years ago
Very well balanced between fruit oak and butter. Nose of ripe poached pear moved into apple pie on the palate. Finish goes to warm spicy notes, almost creamy coffee. Very nice. — 8 years ago
Rich and full of pepper bacon. Marvelous balance with deep dark fruit. Had a salty element like olive as well. Complex and delicious. — 8 years ago
Aged beautifully. Elements of leather and pepper to start. Developed into into a softer menthol and tea. Fantastic. Perfect time to open it. . — 8 years ago
Hedonistic and full of rich fruits and dried greens. Finish hang and develops to overripe currant and pipe tobacco. Not sure it will get better with age, but it's super polished right now. — 8 years ago
Simply spectacular. Truffle, pomegranate jam and saddle leather. Evolved slowly to open brighter fruits and wet forest. From our wedding year, at a place we visited on our honeymoon. Wine plus memories/history is unbeatable. — 8 years ago

After about 15 years, still has a lot of young fruit. Turns to tea and bourbon on the end of the finish. The vegital I might expect shows as some stemmy eucalyptus on the nose. Drinking well, but if I had another bottle, I'd hold for a few more years. — 6 years ago
