Had another bottle and my wife was making a puttanesca pasta, thought it would go well. Medium ruby color with aromas of ripe red fruits. On the palate the wine shows fruit forward with cherry, plums and hints of figs. Tannins are firm with medium acidity noted. The finish is almost medium. Overall good value for this Chianti. Went perfect with the pasta.

Really needs to get some air... Very tight.. Full of dark cocoa espresso and dark fruit, very bitter finish... There is vanilla and spice here as you would expect but just overall very awkward

Savoury dry cherries with earth and new saddle leather. Also nuances of cowyard. Medium minus Intensity with dry powdery tannins. Short term cellaring. Great match with Pasta.

Dry and savory with a slate, mineral finish. I'd like it better if it was fuller in body.
