The nose on this one smelled of earth. Jennifer said that it smelled like horse stable. The sommelier said this was "brett" which is a bacteria which is common in old oak barrel aged wines. Some people love it but some do not. This is NOT for Jennifer. It gives the wine a very distinct "old world" flavor.
