May 3rd, 20232023/3. Wild, woodsy red fruit, flowers and their stems and a touch of spice on the nose. Translucent stony fruit in the mouth - the acidity feels a little low (due to the vintage) but instead of feeling blowsy it comes across as alkaline - like burgundy made with Contrex.

Nicely developed since the last time I tasted it in December 2019. Reductive opening which accentuates the freshness of the red fruit. Aromas of wild strawberry and fudge. Seasoned with black pepper. Juicy and limestone mineral.

Violet and rose hips with bright fruit, a hit of acid, and some tannic grip that lingers. A bit of brine hanging out int the background as well - nice little burg.
