The is the Cardedu Astili red blend (Cannonau, Monica, and a couple other indigenous Sardinian varieties). 12.5% and crunchy, this wine features a fresh nose of just picked wild raspberry, brambly twigs, and a nice dry loamy earthiness. Fresh and fruity, with tangy but in-check acidity. A nice weekday accompaniment to any pasta with a meat sauce.

The extended skin contact contributes not only the color and texture, but the aromatic notes of ripe cantaloupe, honeydew, orange peel, grapefruit pith, also dried orange blossom, freshly cut herbs, wet slate, tomato leaf, and salinity.
Vintage 2019. ABV 13%.
