Buttery lemon and grapefruit on the nose and palate, with inviting minerality and juicy acidity. With 13% alcohol it is perfectly balanced and super food-friendly! I feel it could age some more and quite well. Very elegant!

Mar 22nd, 2014Very different from the 2008 it is the same winemaking process very fruit forward lemon drop candy with hints of new oak spice. Smooth and creamy on the tongue with a firm backbone of acidity. They also have a hotel on the property which is spectacular located in gaioli in chianti less than 1 hectare of Chardonnay around the winery and they have another Chardonnay vineyard that goes in the blend. Only 15000 bottles produced. Excellent +

Very nice. Fresh fruit, some lemon but not sharp or too forward, prominent oak. But the oak is very Burgundian and spices rather than in your face Californian vanilla. Served on LX53.
