Very dark ruby coloration. Hint of brown. On the nose, plum, Dark cherry, currants and forest floor. On the palate, full bodied and rich in the mouth, cherry, currants and a strong and pervasive presence of anise that goes long into the finish. Tannins are present and strong but do not inhibit a medium long finish of anise.
