Love to see Montepulciano that is this expressive. Nose shows rich dark fruits, a hint of raisin almost. Pine, fennel, grilled meat, clay, leather, perfume. More dried fruits on the palate with plenty on that resinous earthy tone. Tannins are really refined and balanced but a plush acidity. Beautiful wine for the money

Music enthusiast, Maria Caterina Dei, moved back home to her grandfather's beautiful Vineyard in the 90's w goal of producing excellent elegant wines. Recommended by her friend & owner at Foxcroft Wine Co we were in for a treat
Decanted for 3 hrs, Bouquet full of sweetness, chocolate covered raisins , prunes, vanilla, berries and a hint of mushrooms.
Palate cherries, recently charred oak, chocolate, ripe plums, prunes, and white pepper.
Well balanced, strong tannins with a long finish at 14.5%

Fig. Prune. Deep fruit raisin. Limited. Mouth feel has spent stewed fruit little acidity or tannin. Zero finish. Was good for bottom tier on the restaurant list.

Gush of fruit at the front end. Cherry is notable as well as more dark fruit that carries well to the middle palette and smooth smooth lingering warm finish.

Vino Nobile must be one of the most under rated of any of the fine wines. This is one of the better ones, and at a bargain price to boot!
