Pretty, approachable, lightly-extracted. Showing some CO2 and sweet, candy-like cherry and raspberry fruit. Think Starburst or Skittles.

Not as deep and dark as anticipated bu very balanced with fruit, acid and relatively low alcohol.

Beautiful red color. Bold flavors with subtle tannins. Lots of fruit notes (cherry, blackberries) and slightly drier than I was expecting for the variation (thank god!). It is very drinkable, a good substitute for Pinot Noir or Malbec. Approachable for beginning drinkers who can’t tolerate full-bodies Cabs or Merlots yet. I sense it will be delicious with steak!
