Oct 13th, 2017Very scrumptious for the price I have to agree with the other reviews. I enjoyed this with a steak served over Gorgonzola sauce pasta. Blackberry jam and other candied black fruit flavors were the most pronounced, cherry possibly too afterwards. Licorice and spicy pepper and perhaps a little bit of cocoa. The tannins were going well with the food and the candy at the end was lip-smackingly satisfying. Definitely a worthy wine to go with stereotypical pairings, for the price of entry I was very pleased.

Interesting and complex. Spicy and flowery with a foundation of currents. Great wine, very reasonably priced.
