Lovely Nebbiolo. Pure clean nose. Sour and early season cherries. Some smoke and hint of leather. High toned nose. Palate is wonderful with lovely rustic cherry fruit, furry tannins and nice sour sweet cherry fruit. Terrific spice and sneaky length. So so juicy. Wow. What energy. Brilliant for what it is.

A lighter and fresh styled Nebbiolo but with classical characteristics. Nose features zippy, sappy cherries, fragrant gravelly earth, and rose water. More savory flavors come out in the palate, which gives a lot of up-front stony minerality and bitter cherry. Cleansing acids then take over.

Sep 16th, 2018A very pretty and lively lighter-styled Nebbiolo. Nose has beautiful just-ripe cherry, light floaty spice, and a bit of rocky gravel. In the mouth it’s medium-bodied but with very pure cherry fruit and buoyant acids. Very charming! Nice value.

Aug 3rd, 2018Big licorice and cherry nose with a perfect hit of cola. Strawberry as well. Big fruit and some spice as well. Very inviting and attractive. Terrific juiciness and freshness with sour cherry and cherry sour patch kid fruit, terrific acidity and great balance. This is so well made. Very very good.

N: Alpine woodland wonderland, it’s like bark, leaves, sous bois, with cherries lurking in the background. Some star anise and cinnamon.
P: Light textured but definitely chewy, strong in the mouth and long. Nebbiolo indeed. Tannins to burn with faint tar and lots of umami, savoriness. Gamy,
delicious. I’ve had it open for a couple of hrs. waiting on more. Later, dried rose petals in cherry liqueur. Second day, much softer.Lots of shoe leather (worn) on the nose.
