Transparent brilliant ruby purple. Blackberry with hints of vanilla on the nose. Echoed on the palate with bright, medium plus acidity. Short-ish finish, but this is a food wine. Drink in the year.

A good, fruity, balanced pasta wine. Dark color. Lots of dark, ripe berry fruit, with a slight hint of prune. A bit of minerality comes out in the mouth. Straightforward, and in a modern style. Decent buy at $12.
