When you look in the dictionary for big oaky obnoxious Chardonnay you will see this as an example. Malo out the wazoo and not enough exotic fruit, complexity or any trace of minerality. It is what it is and if you like this style then have at it. I knew what it was, got it for a light nosh if soft Brie cheeses and appetizers and it was just so so

OK Chardonnay. Lots of oak, although not overpowering, the wine left me wanting more inorganic minerality/fruit. It is however refreshing, easy to pair, and was enjoyed by all at dinner!

Reminds me of why I don't like Chardonnay. Flinty with a dry, bitter finish.
