Fairly robust for a 2011. Starts fruity, with strong cherry and currant notes and a bit of licorice, and finishes with intensely strong black pepper and tobacco flavours. Really remarkable and would pair amazingly with red meats. Tasted with Parmesan bread, salami, and salted dark chocolate which was a perfect match!
