The Spanish love their Reserva’s.

I don’t love this Reserva though.

Medium-bodied, soft tannins, flavours of cherry, liquorice, wood smoke, tobacco, and subtle vanilla. Good value.

"Pallet smacking" dry, just the way I like it. Full body, good tannins, spices and woody. Don't think I have had a better red. Even expensive stuff

Not too big. Not too dry. Light on the palate, but flavorful. Definite good table wine, even straight out the bottle.

Красные и черные ягоды. Вяленность и прелость, все достаточно мягко и свежо. Заметный, но тонкий дуб. Все хорошо, но может слишком дуба.

On the nose: dark fruits with a hint of pepper.
Taste: a well-balanced blend; soft tannins and an initial taste of cherries and black current with a hint of pepper on the after-taste. The graciano grapes only make up 10% of the blend, but they bring a layer of dark berries and a kick of espresso that I really enjoyed. The Tempranillo grape beautifully evens out the acidity level I often associate with the marzuelo grape, and provides a really lovely aroma of rich, dark fruits.

Well balanced, especially after decanting for half an hour. Medium body, some pepper. Colour is deceivingly light. Overall, very nice.
