Just. So. Good.
Immense generosity. Opulent black fruit. And yet fragile balance. Like a high wire act that manages to narrowly avoid unfettered indulgence.

Unripe grapes and vines on the nose. Some nutmeg coming through. Good amounts. Violet component. Verdot shows through with some cream notes as well. Super nice structure.

Drank over two days. Pretty dark red core with slight brickening rim. Beautiful bouquet of dark fruit, black currant, blackberry and prune, bitter chocolate and violet. Medium plus tannin and acidity. Lingering finish. Second day it gained weight and showed more of its darker fruit but kept a nice balance. Still had plenty of life ahead.
