Still a baby, but the parts are all there. Rose nose, followed by cranberry, strawberry, leather and spice (and some grippy tannins). There's a lot going on already in this one. Always amazes me that nebbiolo of this quality comes from a few miles away.

2nd of two bottles, the first was corked. This bottle had a healthy cork and poured out quite dark into a decanter. It initially smelled intriguing and sound. After about an hour in the decanter, serious ethyl acetate began to take over the wine. Picture perfect example of ethyl acetate as a flaw

Started out reduced, overly bratty, and a little hard. Hours later, and with some food, it's quite nice. Fairly tannic, still, but with really nice fresh raspberry/blackberry fruit. A bit simple, perhaps.

Orange rind, summer melon, cranberry preserve. But wait there's more! Tannin that gets a bit aggressive. Unfortunately it's kind of oxidative and for some reason I'm just not grooving on it.

I love just about everything I have ever had from Cameron. But the 2019 Nebbiolo didn’t dig at all. Possibly just too young. But just 100% sour tannicness even after decanting.
