This is the best bottle of the 2012 abbey ridge rouge I’ve tasted. They all taste different. Some bottles are fantastic and others are kind of funky. These Cameron’s are better when they are young. As they age the fruit mellows out and the funk takes over.

Well built Chardonnay from Oregon. Hints of orange and lemon some apples. Acidity is high and works great with food. Minerals on the finish with a lingering orange marmalade.

This has the density and richness that I always associate with Central Otago, and always get wrong.

Round and fleshy. Cameron is just awesome. That is an Atlantic salmon pairing moment.

Deep, dark black cherry. Racy acidity and firm structure. Reductive but zero Brett. Really good. Too young.

This is built for aging with excellent color, primary red fruits, earthy-woodsy aromas with mouth filling texture. On 2nd day, opened up with black raspberry fragrance while continuing to exhibit freshness and length.

This wine is ready to party. I can't remember this PN being so approachable this early. Minerality is present, but slightly covered up by the ripe cherry twizzler impression. \m/

Full of wonderful funk and earth! Cranberry and raspberry fruit up front, and then in comes the moist humus, forest floor, mushroom component. Absolutely complex and thought provoking... Not just "another Oregon Pinot" Very pleasing texture, nice intense acidity but balanced by a powerful weight to the fruit. Burgundy lovers take notice!
