Really nice. Def old school style. Very clean.

If you were saving a cigar for dipping, here’s your wine. Perfect dark berry and tobacco flavors call for a celebratory cigar if you are so inclined. Lovely bright acidity to moderate the fuller body.

Started out one-dimensional, but over time, transitioned into something quite interesting. Thanks @Mo Salem for sharing.

Love these wines. Very elegant expression of the Chalk Hill terroir.

The ‘11 is in a great spot right now. All 5 bdx grapes heavily represented with cab sauv leading the way at 44%. Merlot provides lift and a heavy dose of cab franc brings the mid palate depth. You can smell this in the decanter from across the room.

Pleasant. But no length. A bit stark and tannic. Admittedly opened it young. A good wine but did t stand up to the 2009 Capture Revelation.
