Calabretta
Terre Siciliane Rosso Nerello Cappuccio
Traditional Etna winemaking right here and reliably great. Lifted bouquet of red berries and cherries with floral and woodsy underbrush tones, palate is fresh and silky with fine dusty tannins

Feb 19th, 2024I expected more- it’s a bit whiny & tart, so either this was infanticide or it’s a failed bottle

Oct 13th, 2021Decanted briefly, but could do even longer. Lovely deep black cherries, cassis, roses. Funk burns off quickly on nose. Very lithe & medium bodied. Enchanting. Still a steal at low 30$s. Flavor profile is my sweet spot.
