Traditional Etna winemaking right here and reliably great. Lifted bouquet of red berries and cherries with floral and woodsy underbrush tones, palate is fresh and silky with fine dusty tannins

I expected more- it’s a bit whiny & tart, so either this was infanticide or it’s a failed bottle

Decanted briefly, but could do even longer. Lovely deep black cherries, cassis, roses. Funk burns off quickly on nose. Very lithe & medium bodied. Enchanting. Still a steal at low 30$s. Flavor profile is my sweet spot.

Eminently chuggable. Nothing too complicated, just juicy red fruits with a pruny tannic kick. This is why I love Sicily.

Very moderate alcohol (11.5%) - high-acid freshness - aromatics like a smash up of Rhône Grenache and old Riesling - crazy!

Steely, pomegranate, cranberry sauce. High acid. Earthy, ashy from the terroir. Slight hint of botti. Awesomely light, summer wine. Briny and savory with bright tart fruit. Can crush this all long!

Dark red. Dry, medium tannins, smooth saline acidity. Very enjoyable.
