Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

A shocker. Less is more in this case. The wine has grace and balance, I don't recall such acidity in previous vintages. 2010 made everyone grown up.

This is Plumpjack's project up on Howell mountain

Still quite tannic at this point, we didn't have the opportunity to decant, though this wine would benefit from a 1-2 hour one. Great fruit flavors. Medium to full bodied. A very nice wine.

Mushrooms and shale, with a dash of dark fruits on the nose. On the palette, the wine is a touch gritty, with exotic spices. It has a good finish, but not as suave and sweet as we expected. Not sure if bottle age will help here.

Good Napa cab. I wonder what score I would give blind? Superb with English chocolate on my birthday 😏

Big bold black fruit. Lots of oaky char too.

Meaty with aromas of fresh turned soil

One of my all time favorite. Had several times. Big consistent bold Cab. Slam dunk everytime
