Tingle on the tip of the tongue, but not very acidic. Dry red earthiness with soft, pillowy tannins.

Heard this is even better the second day...afraid I will not be able to comment on that as this is an easy drinker. None of the zingy tartness mentioned for previous vintages. This one is a nice creamy fruit start and a friendly funk to finish.

drank with a very light chill. first swig i got unripe red berries, tiny bit of smoke. as more oxygen hit it and it warmed up a it got spicy, wet soil, mushroom, more smoke. so balanced. soft tannins that coat your mouth. $20
