Dark ruby with blue hue. Opaque in the center, irony, hibiscus, nutmeg, dusty, ripe banana peel, slightly herbal with savory note. On the palate: ripe raspberry, pomegranate, high tannin, med body, clean and refreshing mouth feel but can feel the alcohol in the throat. Cinnamon, steel, slightly licorice. Med to Med plus acidity. Leave mouth dry. An interesting blend with lots of characters. Tasted a lot better on second day. — 6 years ago
