Lugana Trebbiano

This is an example of the “fresh” style of Lugana, meant to be consumed sooner than later. It has bright flavors of pineapple, green apples and green bell pepper, with a hint of honeysuckle to the finish. It has enough acidity to stand up to spicy foods. It is not overly sweet, with perhaps the residual sugar of a California Sauvignon Blanc.

Grape is 100% Turbiana(apparently dialectal expression for Trebbiano)
The wine is refreshing, easy drinking
Not intellectual
It has fruit and flowers on the nose and it's pretty mineral on the palate too
You could struggle to stop on the spot
Not extremely long

Fun #Trebbiano #wine. Lots of semi sweet, fruity aromas, mild pear core, asian pear. Palate is round, medium and finely smooth, pear, lemon curd, brine finish. Opened 11/4/17

Fun, a bit dense, ...who's got the packing peanuts?

Now we're talkin'! Powdery floral nose w/ pears. Nice fruit in the body, not a lightweight. Refreshing acidity, nice finish.

Chenin vibe of rich honey and white wildflowers. Soft and elegant
