Fish night and to be honest I grabbed this Bure because it’s one of the few odd shaped bottles messing up the spacing in my wine fridge😜Not used to complex chardonnays like this. A heavy 14.5% white.

Luc Morlet is making powerful stylish wines. This 2011 Ritchie vineyard is no exception...

Bure 2012 Malena Ritchie Chardonnay. Light golden in color. A full-bodied big- boy Chardonnay. WOW- Lemon, peach, nutmeg, buttered popcorn. Great acidity also. It sits on the back of the palate for sometime.

Top three chards from this amazing Vineyard! From the nose to the palate, it doesn't get much better coming from Ritchie. Luc Morlet is just hitting homers! Highly recommended ! Drink this at cellar temperature.

Rich, but balanced and amazing texture and finish. Great expression of the vineyard

I don’t want to say corked, but something was way off about this bottle versus the exact same one we had 3 weeks ago. Very acidic, slightly murky/unclear, slightly deeper yellow. Hopefully the next bottle is more like the last.

Big up front, but a little short on the finish. Could have been a bad bottle, as the first one opened was corked.
